Gem Beach Resort, Merang

I recently stayed at the Gem Beach Resort, and while the initial impression was good with organized check-in, I did notice that the rooms are a bit outdated. The dining was decent, with the menu changing daily, but there are definitely ups and downs during my stay, especially related to ongoing improvements. Overall, it's a mixed experience with the promise of better things once renovations are complete.

My stay at the resort was quite frustrating due to the lack of basic amenities. Upon checking in, there was no water or electricity in the room, which affected my overall experience deeply. While I appreciated the efforts of the staff and found the meals satisfactory, the condition of the resort left much to be desired. It's clear that this place needs significant improvements to provide a better experience for guests.
